Hi everyone,

My name is Kelli and I'm having problems with my little brother. I've noticed that he's recently been trying to see me naked. I'm really concerned with his behavior because we're family. He's 14 years old, I'm three years older. I get very little privacy in my house, I have one older brother and a younger sister too. I haven't said anything to my parents because I know they wouldn't want to be bothered by this, they're both always busy and they work really hard. Plus it's hard to find the right way to say it to them, you'd have to know them, they're kind of hard to talk to. I even caught him the one time because when I got out of the shower the bathroom door was open a crack and I know I closed it, and the lock doesn't work but you know when someone's in there. He was the only other person home and the door never opened by itself before. He's always trying to walk in on me if I'm either in my room or the bathroom, and he acts like it's an accident. I can't deal with this, I need my privacy. I can't wait until I move out I'll be so much happier! What does anyone think the best way to deal with him is?

Kelli:

The first thing to do is to call your brother out on what he is doing. Then tell your parents and ask them to put a lock on your room door and the bathroom door. If you find it too hard to tell your parents purchase the locks yourself and when they ask you why you need them, and they will, tell what you've told us.
