I met a girl online and fell harder for her than I have with anyone.
Yet she's in another country and I'll have a long wait before getting to see her and I need to have her so badly, sometimes it hurts so much when I know she's not here and I can't comfort her when upset.

Although online relationships can feel very real they are hard to maintain. Yours i believe will be even harder because your friend is in an entirely different country. It's hard enough with someone in a different state or county.
With that said, its not impossible to make a relationship like this work. Its going to take alot of work and of course at some point you will have to meet. For now, the comfort and support via telephone and internet will have to do. _________________ "It better to be misunderstood than not to be understanding".
In time you will know if it is real and if all your efforts are worth the wait.
There are so many variables to making a relationship work without the extra added distance that you speak of.
Just give the relationship time to grow and see what happens. At somepoint you will definitely have to meet in person. But until then you have some time to get to know the person without the physical contact etc.. of a relationship that doesnt have the distance. This may work to your advantage, just to know that you have each other may be enough..
